Bagua Zhang 八卦掌

Bagua Zhang is one of the Chinese Internal Style Martial Arts that Xingyi Kempo (Singapore) is keen in promoting. The following is a demo clip performed by Master Tay.

新加坡形意拳法简介
新加坡形意拳法在发起人兼总教练，郑顺利师傅的带领下於2010年7月1日正式成立。

新加坡形意拳法的宗旨为推广中华武术体系里的内家拳法。在推广的当儿，我们以以下的四个原则为据点：

1。推广及提高人们的健康生活意识
2。对传统中华武术的价值观与哲学更加的了解
3。智慧，勇敢，品德是拳法追求的目标
4。强身、防卫和品德修养

在这样循序渐进的练习下，学员们才能达到养身及养性的目标。

现在，新加坡形意拳法正在开办教授一系列的形意拳法训练课程，希望让国人更加认识这独树一帜的内家拳。

趋时，我们也会开办教授八卦掌及禅门太极拳。

About Xingyi Kempo (Singapore)

Xingyi Kempo (Singapore) was officially established on 1 July 2010, under the leadership of Master Tay Soon Lee, who is the Founder and Chief Coach of the club.

Xingyi Kempo's mission is to promote the Chinese Internal Style Martial Arts. The following principles form the tenet of our mission:-

1. To promote and raise the awareness on the importance of healthy lifestyle
2. To know more about the Chinese Wushu values and her philosophy
3. Wisdom, Courage, Virtues are what Xingyi Kempo is pursuing for
4. stronger person in health, self defence and character development.

Keeping the principles in mind, our students will gradually achieve the aims of better health condition and character development.

Presently, Xingyi Kempo will be conducting a series Xingyi Quanfa workshops. We hope that more people will come to know this unique Internal Style martial arts.

We are also looking into conducting Bagua Zhang and Zen Taichi in the future.

什么是形意拳法? What is Xingyi Quanfa?

新加坡形意拳法所教授的形意拳法是融合了中国传统形意拳和内家功法，进行系统化和规范化编排而成的拳法。它有较完整的理论和技术体系，由浅至深，由简至繁，合理的安排，注重内在的精、气、神、劲的锻炼，配合技击实用练习和养身功法，具备强身，防卫和养性的效果。

其动作丰富，简单易学，不受年龄和性别的限制，适合在室内或户外进行的练习。

The Xingyi Quanfa that is taught by Xingyi Kempo (Singapore) is a martial arts system that is choreographed in a systematic and standardised manner by integrating the traditional Chinese Xingyi Quan and Neijia Gongfa. It is a system that is more complete in theory and technical aspects and they are reasonably arranged from superficial to the profound and from simplicity to complexity.

It emphasizes on training of a person’s Jing, Qi, Shen and Jin internally with matching practices consisting of practical combat techniques and health-enriching gongfa. All of these bring you to the effects of becoming a stronger person in health, self defence and character development.

The movements are rich yet easy to learn and not restricted by age or gender. It is suitable to be practiced in either indoor or outdoor.
